Dispatch and delivery are two separate stages
The wait has two parts, and it helps to count them separately.

A worked example: ordering on a Tuesday night
Say you order a 5kg pair and a 10kg pair to a metro Melbourne postcode on a Tuesday night. Wednesday is the first business day.
- Dispatch usually happens between Wednesday and the Friday.
- Metro delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days after that.
- On the quickest usual path the pairs arrive on the Friday of the same week. On the slowest usual path they arrive in the second week after the order.

Public holidays and peak periods
Public holidays add a day to whichever stage they fall in. Around Christmas, carriers handle more parcels and every estimate on this page tends to stretch.
- Gifts: order at least two weeks ahead for a metro address, and longer for regional.
- Late December: assume the slow end of every range, and allow for the days between Christmas and New Year.
- State public holidays: these differ between states, so a holiday at either end can add a day.
What can delay a dumbbell delivery

Each item in the order is charged its own delivery fee, worked out from your postcode, and the cart adds them up before you pay. The usual timeframes on this page apply to the whole order.
