Delivery is charged per item, so a heavy set pays a charge for each pair. These totals add the goods to the example metro charges, rounded to the dollar.
- 10kg, 15kg and 20kg pairs: $460 for the goods, about $53 delivery to Sydney, about $89 to Melbourne and about $184 to Perth.
- 15kg, 20kg and 25kg pairs: $630 for the goods, about $70 delivery to Sydney, about $104 to Melbourne, about $118 to Brisbane and about $228 to Perth.
- Hobart: heavy pairs cost the most to send there in the example table, about $119.03 for a 25kg pair on its own.
Regional postcodes are higher again. A 25kg pair is about $55.96 to regional NSW and about $133.27 to regional WA. A few items cannot be sent to remote postcodes, and the cart says so when you enter yours.
How long a heavy order usually takes
The usual timeframes are the same for a 2kg pair and a 25kg pair: dispatch usually within 1 to 3 business days, then metro delivery usually 2 to 7 business days. Weight changes the charge, not the estimate. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays, and peak periods stretch every figure.

Receiving and moving a heavy carton
Plan the last few metres before the order arrives. The driver's job ends at your address, so getting a 40kg or 50kg carton inside is up to you.
- Clear a path from the door to where the set will live.
- Open the carton where it lands, rather than lifting it sealed.
- Carry one dumbbell at a time, held close to your body with a straight back.
- Put each dumbbell straight down on the floor. Hex heads sit flat, so they do not roll.
